Weekly Meal Prep (21 day Fix approved)

The stuggle is real,wether you live alone or have a family to feed meal planning and prepping can be stressful. Thats becasue it is a skill you have to learn. The more you do it the better you become.

The one thing I have learned over the last 2 years is in order to be successful at eating healthy, you must prepared. And here is a BIG secret repeat your meal plans every 3 weeks. Also, I usually eat the same thing for breakfast, snacks and lunch. It's just easier.

So here is the plan for this week:

Meal 1~ I will probably do 2 Hard boiled eggs, and oatmeal for breakfast (1R, 1Y) or do the overnight oats (1Y 1P) and do the eggs and carrots for snack 2.

Meal 2~ baby carrots, apple (1G 1P)

Meal 3~ Spagetti squash and Ground Chicken marinara or Salad with tuna (1R 2G & 1O on salad days)

Meal 4~ Shakeology 1R (you could do Yogurt plus fruit) 1R 1/2P

Meal 5 Dinner~

Monday-Mexican Fajitas (chicken sliced) 1/2 Purple 1/2 Blue, 2 Green, 1 Red http://lisamdecker.blogspot.com/2015/02/chicken-fajitas-21-day-fixapproved.html

(for seth I give him tortillas)

Tuesday-Slow Cooker Ziti (girlscouts night) (1R 2 G ½P 1Y 1B ) http://fitssimple.com/slow-cooker-ziti/

Wednesday-shredded chicken tacos (1Y 1R 1G) I usually just do Chicken 3 breasts, but if you wanted just mexican style shredded chicken this recipe is awesome.

Thursday-Spagetti Squash and ground turkey marinara (1R 2 G 2 tsp)

Seth doesnt like mushrooms so I do a red pepper

Friday-Flatbread Pizzas (1Y 1 tsp 1-2 G 1B 1R)(if you use meat/chicken) http://www.fromforkstofitness.com/entree/flatout-pizza/

I buy a pack of flatbreads usually there is 4 of them and then everyone gets to make there on pizza. I do it on Thursdays or Fridays so I have leftover toppings. Shredded chicken, or veggies,

Saturday- Stuffed Chicken Breasts (1R 11/2G 1B 1Y) on the side I will do a veggie& rice http://blommi.com/grilled-stuffed-chicken-italiano-recipe/
